Jesmonite Coaster Workshop - 13th December L&J
Make your own 2 x coasters from Jesmonite!
Friday 13th December, 6 - 7.30pm at Lemon & Jinja - Unit 11 Belbins Business Park, Romsey, SO51 7JF
During the workshop you will learn how to create different techniques of finishing, mix pigment and cast your own coasters to suit your style. We will also sand the coasters once dried.
The process is quite messy, so is advised to wear old/painting clothes you don't mind getting stained.
All materials and gloves will be provided.
Once finished, I will then take everyone's coasters home for a final sanding, water resistant coating and cork base. You will be able to pick them up from Lemon & Jinja the following weekend.
Jesmonite is also known as eco resin; a water based material which is natural heat resistant and solvent free, making it great for all kinds of finished products from soap dishes to candle holders and coasters.
